Yellowstone Custom Guided Day Hiking Trips

Custom day hikes are available from April through October. Day hikes range in length from 5 to 15 miles (8-24 km) and may last several hours. Our local guides have an intimate knowledge of the park and each adventure is meant to be relaxing, fun and informative.

Start Times & Transportation

We usually begin each day hike at around 9:00 am at the designated trailhead. We are happy to accommodate guests who need transportation. Trail Guides Yellowstone is based in Bozeman, Montana and we generally enter the park from the north entrance near Gardiner, Montana. Guests can be picked up at the following locations; Gardiner, Montana, Mammoth Hot Springs and Tower Junction. For those requesting transportation from areas south of Canyon Village additional fees may apply.

Pricing

1-5 People = $800

5-7 People = $900

These are daily rates, not per person fees.

What Should You Bring

• Rain gear - waterproof jacket
• Fleece jacket or long-sleeved fleece shirt

• Insect repellent

Day Hiking Booking Policies

A $250 deposit is required for all guided day hikes.

The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the start date.
